** Latest News Update on Covid Vaccinations for both 1st and 2nd Doses

Covid Vaccinations – 1st Dose
We are now providing 1st Covid vaccines for all the following patients who:
• are aged 60 years or older,
• are aged 16-60 years with high risk underlying conditions. (See the list of NHS England eligible conditions in the link below)
• are carers.

Invitations – We are contacting patients by phoning, or by sending out texts that contain a link to self-book a vaccination appointment. We expect to have contacted everyone in these groups very soon.

Patients who are currently aged 60-64 are also being directly invited by the local vaccination centre at The Stoop. If you have not been offered a vaccine by your surgery or by the Vaccinations Centres by 14th March, please phone on 02034585400 or drop a note into our letter box. Please make sure to keep your surgery up to date with your contact details.


Covid Vaccinations – 2nd Dose
It is with great pleasure we can now confirm that we will commence the provision of 2nd doses of Covid vaccines later in March. You will be invited to come in for your 2nd dose approximately 11 weeks after the date of your first dose.

Therefore, patients who received their 1st dose of Pfizer vaccine on the 6th, 7th or 8th of January at Acorn Group Practice will be invited to return to Acorn sometime between the 22nd and 28th of March.
Patients who had their 1st dose of Pfizer vaccine on the 12th, 13th and 14th January will receive their 2nd dose sometime between 29th March and 1st April.
We will contact patients with a confirmed appointment date and time as soon as we have the actual delivery date confirmed. However, if you have not been invited back before your due date, please contact the surgery.

Patients who received their 1st dose of AstraZeneca vaccine at Jubilee Surgery, will be invited to return to Jubilee approximately 11 weeks after the 1st dose.


Pfizer Covid 19 Vaccination Programme from The Acorn Group Practice, 29-35 Holly Road, Twickenham, TW1 4EA.

Vaccines will be administered at Acorn Group Practice for patients of Acorn, Jubilee, Twickenham Park & Richmond Lock Surgeries and Staines Road Medical Centre.

There will be a drop off point outside the surgery, marshals will be in attendance.

Please wear a short sleeved T-Shirt in order that we can access your arm easily with warm layers on top as you will be required to wait outside for 15mins afterwards.

Please wear a mask.

Parking is available at Holly Road Car Park, Arragon Road Car Park and the H22 and 281 buses stop nearby.
